Redeem Creations: Cakes

My cakes are full of fun and whimsy. I enjoy creating each one to be truly unique and especially for. Clients will often ask me to include personal details, such as the blackbirds in the garden cake below, because they are meaningful to them. This is what makes the cake something special and a real talking point at your celebration.

My individually designed and unique cakes will vary in price according to the time and ingredients necessary. Have a look at the cakes in the gallery below to get an idea of price, but a simple 6 inch cake, like the 3rd birthday one below could cost as little as £40. An estimate is available after a discussion about what you would like and I am always more than happy to work to your budget if I can, so don't be afraid to ask!

All cakes are Madeira Sponge cake, filled with butter cream and strawberry jam. (YUM!) They are covered in marzipan and fondant. If you do not want marzipan, a double layer of fondant will be used to achieve a good finish, so prices will remain the same. It is possible to have flavoured sponge, such as chocolate, coffee, orange or almond, however I recommend Madeira sponge cakes for decoration as they hold their shape well.

Cake Toppers

Cake toppers are a great way to finish off a cake you have made yourself, especially if you have special dietary requirements. Cake toppers are designed and made in consultation with the client and prices begin at £15 for a simple design, such as a single figure. The Gruffalo cake topper pictured in my gallery, which is full of details and fun, is priced at £30,

Collection

Cakes and cake toppers will need to be collected from my home in Petworth at a pre-arranged time. Please take time to check your cake before leaving as in the unlikely event of slight breakage, any necessary repairs can only be made at time of collection and I cannot be held responsible for any breakages once they leave my home.

Birthday cake for a Cath Kidston loving girl! 10 inch round cake, around £100.

A beautiful little 6 inch cake for a 3 year old's birthday. Decorated with presents, roses and butterflies and finished with some Cath Kidston style details, this is perfect for a little princess. Similar cakes around £40.

This bespoke Wedding cake was made to celebrate the marriage of a gardener. The couple were married outdoors, so the cake reflects this natural feel. A similar cake would cost around £750 including the topper.

The Happy Couple. These custom made cake toppers are made from fabric and are copies of the bride and grooms' outfits. They will be a keepsake of the day that will last forever. Similar cake toppers can be ordered as part of your cake order, or separately. Prices begin at £65.

Gruffalo Cake Topper. An ideal way to finish off your own cake. Cake toppers can be made to many designs, this one features the popular Children's Book character and his little friend, the mouse. It comes on a 6 inch board and can include bespoke details, such as a name or number if required. The price for this topper is £30, but simpler designs can be ordered for around £15
